Laurie and I are calling this the L&L Shawl. We purchased the wool/silk yarn and were inspired by a shawl we saw at Miriam's Well in Santa Fe. Miriam shared with us the basic stitches to it but we didn't get a pattern. We struggled and cussed for hours coming up a pattern during our trip over late nights in motel rooms and dim, hazy lounges. We'll it's finally done and I'm very pleased with the results. I like the oblong triangle shape. I added fringe to mine but Laurie didn't. It's a very sentimental reminder of our trip together. Knit on, girlfriend!
