I probably need another suitcase like a hole in the head, but come on, I don't have this size and it was only $5. Sometimes I dream about having my own booth at the Flea someday selling my refurbished suitcases. A girl can dream -- but in the meanwhile, I remain a collector.
I have a soft-cover book that's not holding up well to the wear. I measured the length and width, then cut faux embossed leather fabric and a cotton lining to fit with 1/4" seam allowances. A toggle button, nylon cording and ribbon completed the project.
